About The Guild
MISSION We are a peer-created organization founded to support psychics, mediums and healers, to encourage and facilitate their ongoing skill and practice development, and to enable their efforts in using their skills to be of service in their communities.
By 2012, we will sponsor, facilitate or directly offer our events and services in all Maine counties.
SERVICES / EVENTS Apprenticeship Programs - Community Wellness Events Psychic, Medium and Healer Fairs - Community Education Projects
Current Psychics, Mediums and Healers Fairs are scheduled in the Brunswick and Lewiston Areas in 2007. We are in the process of locating sites in the Augusta Area.
MEMBERSHIP Our high professional standards and membership criteria were developed by our founding membership, and are comparable to those of other professional organizations.
Rigorous membership requirements include a process of personal interviews and the submission of character references, notarized client testimonials, and biographies/resumes for board review. In addition, member candidates are thoroughly skill tested via unscheduled cold readings and/or healing sessions.
All members must additionally adhere to the guidelines and practice standards of their professional affiliations, and comply with the laws of the state in which they practice.
Upon membership acceptance, new members must agree to strictly adhere to our Standards of Practice, which govern the ethical and compassionate use of psychic, mediumistic and healing skills. Members may be sanctioned or removed for failing to practice and/or uphold these Standards.
AFFILIATIONS The Guild is unassociated with church or religious organizations, and honors all religious and spiritual affiliations, memberships and beliefs.
